In my golden years, like many other seniors, I have run into the problem of rising prices on a fixed income.   It didn't help any to learn that Social Security has been frozen for at least two years... no cost of living increase.....but the price of groceries, gasoline, medicine, etc., keeps on increasing.

So back to work.... I started by making pillow cases for some friends after they saw the ones I made for my grandchildren.  Several friends requested specialty items and I will be adding these as I complete them..... So far I have a list that includes small pillows, overstuffed bed pillows,  carrying cases for digital cameras & flash drives, special neck pillows and little girls summer dresses.

I design and make quilt blocks for fun and relaxation.... Hopefully these will turn into children's quilts, lap quilts or wall hangings.
